# Song Verification

### What does it mean

* At least two of our staff have completed your chart and agreed it meets our verification standards
* Guarantees the quality of your map for players
* Verified badge on your song and map in lists
* Enter featured song list and recommendations
* Greatly increases your song’s discoverability
* To be ranked for future leaderboard, in-game competitions, live events and duels
* Become a verified charter to enjoy future perks once you have enough verified songs

### Verification Process

### Verification Standard

Chartsmiths and other staff will judge on factors like notes weight, music accuracy, number of useless notes or ghost notes, notes balance of your map, and decide whether the map is fun to play, is it overcharted, does the diff matchs the map, and many more. They will provide a reason if your chart is rejected, once it's fixed, you can submit the verification request again. The process should take less than 7 days.

Before you submit, please make sure:

* your song and map is public
* the title, artist, tags, cover, source and language is correct
* sheet difficulty is correctly selected (even though this might be subjective)
* your map meets our verification standards

Please also make sure you have provided the correct cover image, title and artist for the song. Avoid further major edits to the map you submitted for verification, as it might impact the verification status of your map.

Currently the process and standards could be very subjective to the reviewer and we understand it has flaws.
